Stop just copying patterns and start creating stories. In my hands-on workshop, I teach you the art of drawing expressive faces, bridal couples, and figures that actually convey emotion on skin.

A bride's story, customized in henna. This design, featuring a full-figure bride in a ghoonghat on the palm, is a perfect example of the personalized and intricate work you will learn to create in my bridal masterclass.

This video shows the step-by-step creation of an engagement couple portrait. From the initial outline of the kalash to the final shading on the figures, you can see how a story unfolds with every stroke of the cone.

A beautiful portrait of a couple, framed by intricate patterns and delicate finger designs. This is the kind of art that turns an occasion into a lifelong memory, and I teach the techniques to achieve this level of detail.

This design combines faith and beauty, with a delicate figure of Meera Bai on the palm and a Shreenathji motif on the wrist. In my classes, you learn how to blend different elements to create a cohesive and meaningful story.

Bridal mehndi is a story written on the hands. This design captures a beautiful wedding ceremony moment. Learning to draw such multi-figure scenes is a key part of my advanced figure drawing workshop.

The other hand of the bridal story, showing a graceful bride figure. Notice how the design is incomplete on its own but tells a full story when paired with the other hand. We focus on such narrative composition in my classes.

A daily vlog showing my journey to a bridal appointment and the creation of a stunning bridal mehndi. This gives a glimpse into the life of a professional artist, a path I help my students prepare for.

From a digital illustration to a real mehndi portrait. This video shows the process of recreating a client's special moment for Diwali, capturing the couple's joy and the festive atmosphere.

As a duo, Pinky and Bhavna, we create a wide range of art, from divine figures like Radha Krishna to celebrity portraits. This video showcases the variety and skill that we bring to our art and our teaching.

A divine design featuring Yashoda and Krishna, paired with a minimal yet meaningful wrist design. This shows how you can balance intricate figures with simpler patterns for an elegant look.

About Learn to Draw Stories: Figure & Portrait Workshop

Drawing a face or a couple's pose isn't just about anatomy; it's about capturing the expression. In my studio, we don't just copy pictures. I sit with you to correct your cone pressure and shading angles in real-time, focusing on the feel of the portrait rather than just the lines. You will learn how to break down complex bridal figures into manageable sketches, ensuring that by the end, you aren't just drawing—you are telling a story.

Beyond The Lines: My Approach to Teaching

Many students come to me thinking portraits are impossible. They struggle with proportions or fear that the figure won't look 'human.' My workshop is designed to dismantle that fear. We start with the basics—facial anatomy and posture—before moving to the intricate themes like Radha-Krishna or traditional wedding ceremonies.

What makes these classes different?

  • Small Batches Only: I believe in quality over quantity. Because the batch sizes are small, I can personally check your hand movement, guide your cone pressure, and help you fix mistakes while they are still just a sketch.
  • Step-by-Step Breakdown: We take a complex scene, like a bride in a ghoonghat, and break it into simple geometric steps. You don't need to be a natural artist to learn this.
  • Organic Process: I teach you how to draw from your imagination, not just reference photos. This is the difference between a technician and an artist.

Workshop Options

Whether you are joining me at my studio in Bhayander West or connecting online, you get the same level of dedication.

  • 11-Day Figure Specialization: This is an intensive 33-hour program strictly focused on the 'how' of drawing figures. If you struggle with side profiles or bridal proportions, this is where we fix it.
  • Advanced Masterclass: This includes the business side of things—how to handle clients, how to photograph your work for social media, and advanced 3D shading techniques.

Practice is the heart of my classroom. We celebrate every small win, every perfect circle, and every correctly shaded eye. My goal is to send you out with the confidence to pick up your cone and create something that truly belongs to you.
