About this collection
Portrait mehndi is a commitment. Because I use 0.38mm fine tips for realistic shading to capture expressions, these designs require patience and roughly 3 to 4 hours of sitting time. Please share your high-resolution reference photos at least 48 hours in advance so I can study the features and plan the layout to get the details just right.
For me, mehndi is not just a pattern, it is a piece of your story. When you ask for a portrait, you are not just asking for a design; you are trusting me to capture a memory on your skin. Whether it is a tribute to a loved one, a portrait of your pet, or even a quirky pop culture character like Labubu, I use advanced two-tone shading techniques to create depth and realism that standard mehndi cannot match.
The Process
I start with your reference photos, breaking them down into shapes and shadows before I even touch the henna cone. This is why I need the photos 48 hours early. My signature style uses fine, delicate lines for the eyes and features, ensuring the portrait looks alive rather than just a sketch. To get that rich, dark stain everyone loves, I use my homemade, chemical-free, organic henna blend, which is gentle and safe for everyone, including those with sensitive skin.
More Than Just Weddings
While I love bridal work, these portrait designs are perfect for milestones. A mother’s portrait for an emotional surprise, a pet portrait for the animal lovers, or even your favorite artist to celebrate a concert—these designs spark conversations. If you have a specific idea, tell me the story behind it. I don't just draw faces, I draw the feeling behind them.
