Moody and Cinematic Couple Portraits
I strip away the noise to focus on raw, honest moments. This is a collection of portraits defined by light, shadow, and the quiet connection between two people.
This is what I look for: a quiet, unposed moment of connection. The texture of the sweaters and the simple embrace create a feeling of warmth and closeness, captured in timeless black and white.
A golden hour pre-wedding photo from a shoot in Kochi. I use the sunset to create dramatic silhouettes and warm, cinematic colors, turning a playful moment in the waves into a piece of art.
An intimate at-home portrait where the direct eye contact creates a powerful connection. I focus on capturing these honest, in-between moments that reveal the trust and comfort you share.
A dramatic black and white seascape from an engagement session. Standing together against the vastness of the ocean creates a powerful, moody photograph that feels both epic and deeply personal.
Photography isn't just about serious, moody shots. It's also about capturing pure, uninhibited joy, like this candid moment of laughter during a playful beach photoshoot at sunset.
I often use creative angles to find a fresh perspective on a familiar moment. This low-angle shot captures the shared joy and intimacy between a couple, framed by their embrace.
An experimental double-exposure portrait from a pre-wedding shoot. This technique allows me to layer emotions and moments, creating a unique and artistic image that tells a deeper story.
About Featured
I do not rely on stiff poses or forced smiles. My process is entirely candid, focusing on the small, unscripted interactions that happen when you are comfortable, letting the natural light and atmosphere define the final image.
Whether we are shooting in a home setting or along the coast, my goal is to capture your story as it unfolds naturally. I use a high-resolution Sony A7RIV to ensure every texture and detail is sharp, while my editing focuses heavily on cinematic, high-contrast black and white processing. Approximately half of my final deliverables are monochromatic, as I believe black and white reveals the emotional depth of a relationship without the distraction of color.
For outdoor sessions in locations across Bangalore and Kochi, I prioritize golden hour timing to utilize soft, directional light. My approach is documentary. I will guide you into positions that feel natural, but I will never ask you to pose or look directly at the lens. This gives you the freedom to move, breathe, and interact while I capture the fleeting moments that truly define your connection.
If you are planning an indoor session, we will work with natural window light to create a moody, intimate atmosphere. Regardless of the location, you receive a narrative gallery that flows like a story, capturing the beginning, the middle, and the end of our time together.
