Gypsum False Ceiling with Cove Work
Structural Framework & Boarding
- Suspended Galvanized Iron (GI) channel framework anchored securely to the true ceiling.
- 12.5mm standard Gypsum plasterboards (Saint-Gobain Gyproc or equivalent) fixed with rust-proof screws.
- Execution of tray designs, floating islands, or geometric honeycomb patterns.
- Basic curved profiles included in the higher price range.
Finishing & Paint
- Fiber-mesh tape and jointing compound application for crack-free joints.
- Full surface POP punning for a smooth and level base.
- One coat of primer followed by 2 coats of standard Plastic Emulsion paint (White or Off-white).
Electrical Provisions
- Creation of 3-4 inch deep ledges or coves for indirect LED strip lighting.
- Precision cutting for recessed downlights, spotlights, and fans.
- Note: Cost of LED fixtures and wiring cabling is excluded.

- Installation of LED Drivers and Transformers in accessible locations.
