About A Legacy of Hospitality
When I grew up watching my family run The Embassy, I noticed a recurring theme, true hospitality is about letting the guest enjoy themselves. Whether it is a formal dinner or a relaxed weekend gathering, you should not be the one rushing between the kitchen and your guests. My team and I handle the service details, from unboxing to cleanup, so you can finally be a guest at your own party.
My journey in the food industry began long before I launched The House Party or Num Yum. In 1948, my grandfather co-founded The Embassy in Delhi, which served everyone from prime ministers to Bollywood stars. Growing up in that environment, I learned that the secret to a great event is not just the food, but how it is presented and served.
I studied hotel management in Switzerland and worked at top-tier establishments like ITC Maurya to understand the technical side of fine dining. However, I kept seeing the same problem in the private event space. Hosts were often stressed, stuck in the kitchen while their guests socialized in the living room. Hosting मतलब मेहनत (Hosting means hard work).
I created my current service offerings to bridge that gap. I wanted to bring the rigor and precision of a 5-star restaurant directly into your home in Mumbai, Delhi, or Chandigarh. When you book our professional servers or mixologists, you are not just getting staff, you are getting an extension of my family's commitment to quality.
We operate with a clear process to ensure your evening runs smoothly:
- Setup: Our team arrives before your guests to organize the bar, set up platters, and prepare the space.
- Service: We handle reheating, plate setup, and beverage service, ensuring no one needs to lift a finger.
- Cleanup: We manage the trash and kitchen reset, meaning you wake up to a clean home the next morning.
Whether you are hosting a festive gathering or an intimate dinner, my goal is to make sure the food and the service feel effortless. You focus on the conversation, and I will handle the rest.
