My process is rooted in traditional darkroom techniques, meaning I rely on manual dodging and burning rather than heavy digital filters. This approach ensures that textures—like the intricate embroidery on ethnic wear or the fine details of jewellery—remain sharp and authentic. Every image is captured with the intent of preserving the reality of the moment.
My approach to photography is rooted in storytelling and technical precision. Whether shooting high-end fashion campaigns, magazine editorials, or personal portraits, the goal remains the same: to create images that endure. I prefer a classic aesthetic, often utilizing cinematic lighting setups and vintage props to build a narrative around the subject.
For fashion brands, I manage the full production, from concept development to directing hair, makeup, and styling. My work with designers and jewellery houses demonstrates how I translate a brand's vision into a visual language. You will see this in the way I play with light—sometimes soft and romantic for wedding collections, sometimes stark and intense for black and white portraiture.
My work is not limited to one genre. From shooting historic figures for magazine covers to modern luxury lookbooks, the constant is an obsession with light and shadow. I avoid the current trend of over-editing images to look smooth. Instead, I value skin texture and the natural interplay of light.
