Behind the Scenes: Planning Our Shooting Championships
A great shooting event is built on more than just targets. I handle the infrastructure, inclusivity, and technical details to ensure every shooter, from beginners to para-athletes, gets a fair, professional stage.
This is the official poster for the 1st MURC Shooting Championship. When you partner with me, I manage the entire event, including creating professional promotional materials to attract participants and build excitement.
This document shows the detailed program from one of my events. You can see the wide variety of match categories I plan for, including ISSF, National Rule (NR), different age groups, and even specific events for deaf athletes.
A clear, day-by-day schedule is crucial for a smooth competition. This is an example of the detailed schedule and rules I provide to all participants, ensuring everyone knows what to expect and the event runs on time.
About Behind the Scenes: Planning & Inclusivity
What makes a championship run smooth is the invisible setup. I personally handle the SIUS electronic target configuration, the range officer coordination, and the strict rulebook adherence so that every single shooter gets a fair, precise match, whether they are a sub-youth beginner or an experienced ISSF competitor.
Organizing a shooting competition in Delhi NCR is not just about the venue. It is about creating an environment where technical standards meet accessibility. When I plan a championship, I ensure the logistical burden stays off the shooters. This includes everything from real-time scoring displays on SIUS Ascor systems to managing separate squads for Air Rifle and Air Pistol categories.
My planning process is built on specific pillars:
- Technical Compliance: Every event follows either ISSF or National Rules (NR). I enforce mandatory equipment control and decimal scoring to ensure that professional shooters get the data they need for their career progression.
- Inclusivity: My goal is to break down barriers. I create dedicated categories for sub-youth, para-athletes, and newcomers who have never competed before. Sabko mauka milta hai (Everyone gets a chance) is not just a phrase. It is how I structure the match slots.
- Operational Flow: A competition can fall apart if the schedule is tight. I design the program to keep squad movement efficient, minimizing wait times so the atmosphere stays competitive rather than chaotic.
Whether it is the 1st MURC Shooting Championship or a local club match, I manage the registrations, the competitor cards, and the prize distribution. If you are a club or association looking to host an event that balances professional standards with a welcoming spirit, I have the experience to handle the entire operations from start to finish.
