About Romantic Mehendi: Bagh-e-Ishq
For this setup, the real challenge was ensuring the stage felt secure yet weightless over the rooftop pool. We used a transparent acrylic base so the bridal seating appeared to float on water, surrounded by hand-crafted organza lotuses that caught the evening breeze. It is a structure that looks delicate in photos, but our team meticulously balanced it to handle high-traffic festivities.
Designing for a rooftop pool meant we had to move past standard setups. We needed a foundation that did not just sit on the surface but integrated with it. By using a clear acrylic platform, we kept the view of the water intact, which became the canvas for our 'Bagh-e-Ishq' concept.
The giant organza lotuses were chosen specifically for their ability to hold shape against the wind, unlike fresh flowers which might wilt or droop. Our process involves bringing in these materials, installing them with precision, and ensuring the lighting plays off the water reflection.
When we talk about our team muttering, 'Madam ji, kya-kya kaam karwate ho!' (What all do these madams make us do!), this is exactly what they mean. Setting up floating structures in the middle of a city skyline is no small feat. But when you see the final result, the effort makes sense. We focus on mixing traditional brass elements like urlis with these modern, ethereal touches to create a space that feels grounded yet dreamy.
