About this collection
Getting the fit right takes more than just a measurement. I schedule at least two fitting sessions—a raw trial and a final finish trial—to make sure the structured shoulders and torso sit perfectly, especially when wearing heavy fabrics like raw silk or computerized jacquard. This ensures your sherwani looks sharp from the first photo to the final ritual.
Whether you are looking for a classic cream sherwani or a bold, modern look, the process stays the same: focus on the fabric and the fit. I work with premium materials—raw silk, velvet, and computerized jacquards—that provide the structure needed for a regal silhouette. For our wedding ensembles, we pay attention to the base fabric and how it holds the weight of intricate embroidery like Zardosi and Katdana.
It is not just about the coat. A complete look involves coordinating the inner anarkali kurta, churidar, and even the mojari. If you have a color palette in mind to match the bride’s lehenga, I handle the fabric dyeing and embroidery matching so the pair looks coordinated without feeling overdone.
Embroidery Techniques We use specific hand-machine work to achieve that depth in design. You will find vertical panels of Katdana (cut glass beads) and Salli (pipe beads) that catch the light during daytime ceremonies or evening receptions. We add structure to the shoulder and chest using canvas fusing, ensuring the sherwani does not wrinkle or sag.
Practical Advice If you are planning a destination wedding, tell me early. Heavy work sherwanis require specific care during transit. Also, bring your mojari or footwear to the final trial so I can adjust the length of your churidar or pants for the right break. This attention to detail is what makes a custom piece feel personal.
