A Peek Into My Kitchen Making Process
When I say homemade, I really mean it. Every soap, lotion, and hair pack you see here was whipped up by me, right here in my kitchen.
The making of my Herbal Shampoo. I use ingredients like Aavarampoo, which is well-known for controlling hair fall, and rose petals for adding moisture.
Something new I'm working on: a Shampoo Bar. This solid shampoo is eco-friendly and made with nourishing oils and butters to cleanse your hair gently without harsh detergents.
Here you can see me making my Hibiscus Conditioner with real hibiscus flowers. Hibiscus is a wonderful natural conditioner that restores elasticity and helps with dryness and dandruff.
A behind-the-scenes look at me making the Beetroot Cold Process soap. I use an immersion blender to ensure all the oils and beetroot benefits are perfectly combined.
See the process of making my Rose Body Lotion, starting with real rose petals. This lotion soothes the skin with antioxidants and locks in moisture, making it soft and supple.
The making of my Rose Body Butter. I whip mango butter, shea butter, and rose oils to create this luxurious, creamy butter that deeply moisturizes the skin.
Here I am preparing a tan removal cream using fresh henna leaves. Henna is a wonderful natural ingredient for treating tanned skin and improving complexion.
About this collection
You might see me using an immersion blender to emulsify oils for my cold process soaps, or carefully hand-mixing herbal powders for hair packs. It is not just a recipe; it is about controlling every ingredient that touches your skin. If you have ever wondered why the texture of a handmade cream feels different from store-bought ones, it is because there are no industrial stabilizers here, just the raw, active goodness of nature.
Behind Every Product
People often ask me why I make things in such small batches. The answer is simple: freshness. When I make a batch of Hibiscus Conditioner or a Rose Body Lotion, I am not just mixing ingredients; I am using the fresh herbs and flowers I have sourced. By keeping production in my own kitchen, I ensure that there are no hidden preservatives or harsh chemicals like SLS or parabens.
How I Work
- Cold Process Soaps: I use a traditional method where oils and butters are carefully blended. You will see me using a blender for my Beetroot soap to make sure the beetroot benefits are perfectly incorporated into every bar.
- Herbal Infusions: For my hair care range, I spend hours infusing coconut and castor oils with herbs like Aavarampoo. This process takes time, but it is the only way to get the real strength of the herbs into the oil.
- Whipped Butters: Whether it is Shea or Cocoa butter, the whipping process is key. I do this by hand to ensure the texture stays creamy and penetrates deep into your skin to fight dryness.
