About Traditional & Royal Bridal Designs
When I craft these dense, traditional designs, my priority is getting that deep, natural stain. I use only chemical-free, organic henna, which means the application process for these full-coverage styles takes about 5 to 7 hours. I finish every session with a lemon-sugar sealant to lock in the color, so you get that rich, dark maroon shade by the time your wedding day arrives.
My Approach to Royal Bridal Art
Classic bridal mehendi is about more than just filling the space on your hands. It is about heritage. When I work on traditional, elbow-length designs, I look for ways to weave specific, meaningful elements into the dense jaal (netting) and floral patterns. Whether it is an elephant motif symbolizing wisdom or a jharokha (window) design that frames your love story, these elements are drawn freehand to ensure they flow naturally with your arm's anatomy.
Why Natural Henna Matters
I never compromise on the ingredients. Chemical-heavy cones might give a quick, dark color, but they often leave the skin dry and itchy. I prepare my own paste using pure, organic henna leaves and essential oils. While the stain takes 24 to 48 hours to reach its peak richness, it is safer, smells better, and provides a beautiful, deep kumkum color that truly honors the traditions of your special day.
Planning Your Session
Because these designs are intricate and cover your hands up to the elbows, we need to plan your timing carefully. A typical traditional bridal application takes 5 to 7 hours of continuous work. I recommend booking your slot for a time when you can sit comfortably and relax. I travel to your venue across Mumbai and Pune, so we can set up in a space where you feel most at ease. If you want to include specific elements like your wedding date or a special logo within the royal motifs, let me know during our consultation so I can plan the layout to fit everything perfectly.
