About Sacred Moments: Nikkah & Ceremony
For Nikkah ceremonies, I always recommend planning your henna application to ensure the deepest burgundy stain by the time you sign your marriage contract. Because I use my own 100% organic henna without any chemicals, the color takes a little time to bloom, so we coordinate the timing to make sure it looks perfect exactly when you are signing your Nikkah-nama.
Nikkah ceremonies are incredibly personal, and the photos in this gallery capture that intimacy. When you are signing your marriage certificate, the hands holding the pen are the focal point of the ceremony. I make it a point to ensure the henna design around your fingers and wrists is detailed enough to shine in those close-up shots while keeping the overall look elegant and traditional.
Because I handcraft my own 100% organic henna paste, I control exactly what goes into it, using only pure, high-quality powder and essential oils. This is crucial for brides because you want a safe, natural product for your festivities. The result is a stain that starts as a bright orange and deepens into a rich, dark burgundy over 24 to 48 hours. Many of my Bangalore brides ask me about the timing of the application, and my advice is always to plan your bridal mehendi at least two days before the main ceremony. This gives the stain enough time to reach that vibrant shade that looks stunning against your wedding attire.
Whether you want intricate traditional floral motifs or delicate jaali work, I customize the pattern to complement your bridal ensemble. My goal is to make sure your henna feels like an extension of your own joy on such a significant day. If you have a specific style in mind, or even just a vision of how you want your hands to look, let’s talk.
