Sodi Endurance Meet: Team Karting Challenge

The endurance format shifts the focus from individual speed to total team strategy. With 120 minutes of track time per round, your crew will need to manage pit stops, fuel, and driver changes with precision to stay in contention for the podium.

Racing with Strategy

Unlike traditional sprint races, the Sodi Endurance Meet is a test of patience and consistency. Whether you are racing at Meco Kartopia in Bengaluru, the CoASTT High Performance Centre in Coimbatore, or the Madras International Karting Arena in Chennai, the format remains a rigorous challenge. You will manage a team of 2 to 4 drivers, ensuring each member hits their marks while navigating a Le Mans-style start and mandatory driver changes.

The Machine and the Grind

We provide the equipment, so you arrive ready to drive. Each team uses our fleet of Sodi Karts, powered by reliable Honda GX 270 4-stroke engines. These karts are balanced, but we maintain strict parity using ballast weight boxes to ensure every driver meets the minimum weight requirement of 70kg. This removes excuses and places the focus entirely on driver skill and pit strategy.

Requirements and Preparation

Participation requires a valid FMSCI Club Sport Karting License. If you are under 18, we require signed indemnity from a parent or guardian. Safety is non-negotiable on our track. Every driver must bring their own DOT or Snell-rated helmet, along with gloves, boots, and a racing suit. We handle the fuel, the transponder timing, and the track marshaling; you handle the race.

Why Endurance?

This series is a support event to our major championship calendar, designed to give teams a dedicated space to grind. It is about working as a unit, calculating fuel burn, timing pit windows, and maintaining concentration for two solid hours. If you are looking to build a race team or just want to experience competitive endurance karting without the overhead of owning a race-spec kart, this is your entry point.
