Featured Photography Moments: Capturing Real Stories
From high-energy marathons and corporate seminars to the quiet, candid joy of family birthday parties, this collection highlights my favorite work. I focus on freezing genuine emotion, not just staging perfect poses.
This is the magic I look for. That split second of pure, unscripted emotion. I love using black and white to focus on the feeling, creating a timeless candid portrait that you will cherish forever.
The best moments are the ones you don't pose for. My goal during a family shoot is to capture the real connection and joy, like this beautiful, candid laugh between a mother and her daughter during an outdoor session.
From corporate keynotes to large seminars, I understand the professional environment. I focus on capturing the speaker's energy, the audience's engagement, and the overall branding of the event to provide powerful images for your company's marketing and archives.
Childhood friendships are so precious. I stay ready for these sweet interactions, like this moment of gift-giving at a birthday party. It’s these unposed, genuine scenes that tell the true story of your celebration.
You spent weeks planning the perfect theme, and I make sure to capture every detail. This short video highlights the amazing space-themed decor and cake from a child's birthday, preserving the atmosphere you worked so hard to create.
I am proud to partner with large community events like the Fit Fest 5K. Being trusted to capture the energy and scale of a marathon shows my capability to handle high-action, large-crowd event photography.
While I love candid shots, I also make sure to get beautiful portraits of the star of the show. This birthday girl is captured in her lovely dress, a classic photo that perfectly complements the action shots from her party.
About this collection
I don't follow a rigid checklist or force smiles during shoots. Whether I am capturing a high-speed marathon or a child’s birthday party, my process is the same: stay out of the way. I use a mix of candid storytelling and purposeful portraiture, often blending color with monochrome to emphasize the emotion in a scene. If you book me, expect me to blend into the background rather than direct the flow of your event.
My Approach to Photography
I spent eight years in the corporate world before a life-changing 'jhatka' (shock) pushed me behind the camera. That background defines how I work now. I don't see photography as a service to be sold, but as a way to preserve moments that actually matter.
Why Candid Photography Matters
Most event photography relies on staging. You stand here, look there, smile now. I prefer to let the event happen.
- For Family & Kids: Children aren't meant to sit still. When you let them run, play, and interact, you get a genuine memory of their personality, not just a photo of them in a nice dress.
- For Corporate Events: I understand the professional environment. Whether it is a seminar or a launch, I capture the speaker's intensity and the audience's engagement without interfering with the proceedings. My gear is set up to handle complex stage lighting, ensuring the branding and logos are as crisp as the candid expressions.
- For Sports & Marathons: Energy is everything here. I focus on the grit and determination, positioning myself to catch the action, not the setup.
The Technical Side
I believe in post-production that feels real. I mix color-corrected shots with black and white edits when the emotion is raw. It adds a timeless quality that feels more like a memory than a glossy magazine ad. My goal is to give you a set of files that makes you feel exactly how you felt on that day.
Mayur Chandranee
I’m Mayur. I spent years in corporate tech until life gave me a push, and I realized my true passion was capturing the moments in between. I don't use corporate jargon or force you to pose; I simply focus on getting the real, messy, beautiful stories of your day.
