- Tiles: Don't use cement for big tiles. Polymer-modified tile adhesive is way better - stops cracks and hollow sounds.
- Leave a 2-4mm gap between tiles so they don't chip or crack.
- In bathrooms and kitchens, epoxy grout for bathrooms keeps things waterproof and mold-free.
- Flush skirting installation makes cleaning easier and looks seamless.
Plywood Basics
- Wet areas: Only BWP grade works, or your cabinets will swell.
- Semi-wet: BWR grade is good.
- Dry spots: MR grade saves money.
