This is the first thing you see. It’s a curated look into the heart of what we do: building with our hands, empowering our community, and creating soulful, sustainable structures. These visuals capture the spirit of our workshops and the beautiful results of working with natural materials.
Building Futures: Our All-Women Mason Team
Our work is about more than just construction; it's a mission to empower women in a field where they are often overlooked. We provide dedicated training, fair wages, and leadership opportunities, helping women transition from laborers to skilled masons who can lead projects and build their own sustainable homes.
Core Building Techniques
Our workshops are designed to be fully hands-on, moving beyond theory to practical application on real sites. You will learn to work with a variety of sustainable materials and master ancient techniques reimagined for today, including earthbag construction, wattle and daub, and walls made from gabions and upcycled bottles.
The Art of Natural Finishes
Discover the beauty and functionality of traditional plastering. Our workshops cover techniques like Moroccan Tadelakt and Rajasthani Thappi, which use lime and natural pigments to create waterproof, breathable, and stunningly textured surfaces for walls and decorative objects.
Project Spotlight: The Cheerville Farmhouse
This 100% cement-free, off-grid farmhouse is a living example of our principles in action. Built by our all-women team, Cheerville integrates a variety of vernacular and sustainable techniques, serving as a model for circularity and a primary training ground for our workshops.
Exhibitions & Interactive Art
We take our passion for natural building beyond construction sites to public forums like the India Art, Architecture and Design Biennale (IAADB). These interactive installations allow everyone to experience the tactile beauty of materials like mud and Tadelakt lime plaster firsthand.
Our Voice: Spreading the Word
We believe sustainability should be the norm, not the exception, and we actively share our knowledge through interviews, public speaking, and workshops. We advocate for empowering local communities, reviving traditional building practices, and promoting gender equality in the construction industry on platforms like COP27 and The Architect's Diary.
