About Festive & Celebration Looks
Festive events can be long, so I focus heavily on skin prep before any colour goes on. I use dermatologist-tested moisturisers to create a hydrated base that holds your makeup for 8 to 10 hours. This way, whether you are celebrating Diwali or an anniversary, you will not have to worry about your base cracking or looking heavy by the end of the night.
My approach to festive makeup is all about maintaining that fresh, dewy finish while ensuring everything stays in place. I treat every face as a unique canvas, starting with intense hydration using brands like Embryolisse or Cetaphil. This creates the perfect foundation, whether I am applying HD products from MAC and NARS for a standard party look, or using luxury Charlotte Tilbury products for a high-impact, snatched cocktail style.
My Process
- Skin First: I always start with a 15-minute prep routine. For mature skin, I use facial oils and luminous foundations like Armani Luminous Silk to plump fine lines rather than settling into them.
- Customised Glam: You might want a soft, smokey eye for a family puja or a bold, glittery look for a night out. I listen to what makes you feel comfortable. If you want a statement lip or an intricate hairstyle like Hollywood waves, we will plan that together.
- The Final Touch: I believe in the 'Kaisa lag raha hai aapko?' (How are you feeling?) check-in. It is not just about the makeup, it is about your confidence. If a look does not feel like you, we adjust it until it does.
