A collection of my favorite projects, from hand-embroidered Banarasi silks to modern Indo-Western gowns. These pieces represent 17 years of working with fabrics and colors to help my clients express their own style.
This is one of my favorite creations, a custom Indo-Western gown. I designed this elegant white anarkali paired with a vibrant pink, hand-embroidered long jacket for a client who wanted a modern yet traditional look for her special event.
A closer look at a bespoke lehenga I designed for a Sangeet ceremony. The powder blue silk is complemented by a contrasting orange organza dupatta, and the entire piece features intricate floral embroidery in zardozi and threadwork.
The beauty of a custom Banarasi silk saree lies in its details. Here you can see the rich brocade weave combined with a meticulously hand-embroidered floral border, a signature of my bridal trousseau collection.
This vibrant lehenga choli was designed for a youthful and fun pre-wedding celebration. I paired a bright yellow Banarasi skirt with a contrasting emerald green blouse featuring delicate silver embroidery around the neckline.
Perfect for a Haldi or Mehendi function, this bright yellow lehenga set showcases my love for detailed craftsmanship. The blouse is adorned with delicate 3D floral embroidery, and the look is completed with a lightweight, embellished net dupatta.
Here I am in one of my own designs for Diwali. This is a simple yet elegant mustard yellow saree with a subtle sheen, paired with a custom-stitched chevron print blouse for a contemporary festive look.
About Featured
When we start your design, the first thing I look at is how the fabric moves. Whether it is a heavy silk or flowy organza, I test the drape before we even sketch the embroidery. This is why my clients often tell me they feel comfortable dancing all night in these custom pieces, rather than just standing still for photos.
My design approach is simple: you are the muse. For 17 years, I have helped clients in Mumbai find their signature style. I do not follow off-the-rack trends. Instead, I focus on the connection between your personality and the fabric. If you want a Banarasi saree with a modern twist or a lehenga that actually fits your frame, we start from scratch.
The Creative Process
We begin with a conversation about your event. I want to know where you are going, what time of day it is, and what makes you feel confident. Once we decide on the base fabric—be it raw silk, georgette, or organza—we move to the embroidery. I specialize in mixing traditional zardosi or aari work with contemporary cuts, ensuring the final piece feels fresh, not dated.
Why Quality Matters
I am a perfectionist about the finish. I check every stitch, the padding in the blouse, and the quality of the zippers. I want you to wear these clothes for years, not just one night. For my lighter festive wear and party outfits, I generally need about three weeks to ensure the final fit is right. If you have a bridal project, we plan for at least two fitting trials to make sure everything sits perfectly.
Whether you are looking for a heavy wedding set or a light outfit for a puja, the goal is to make something that feels like you.
