About A Peek Inside Our Classes
What you are seeing here is the Playway method in action. You won't find kids staring at textbooks in our classrooms. Instead, notice how we use movement—like dancing to 'Cabeza, Hombros, Rodillas, Pies' or playing games like 'I Spy'—to help French and Spanish words stick naturally. We believe if a child is laughing while they learn, the language becomes a natural part of their vocabulary rather than a subject they feel pressured to memorize.
Learning through doing
When we started Learning Lingos, our goal was simple: get rid of rote learning. The activities shown here are designed to keep children engaged, whether they are toddlers taking their first steps in bilingualism or teens refining their conversation skills.
We focus on the 'kinetic' aspect of language. For example, our geography games with physical props help children associate words like 'France' or 'India' with movement and touch. In our offline sessions across South Delhi, you will see us using real-world objects like fruit baskets to teach vocabulary, turning a simple lesson into a sensory experience.
Why this approach works
- Active Participation: By unmuting sessions or encouraging students to move in our offline centers, we ensure they are active participants, not just passive listeners.
- Confidence Building: The focus is on communication, not perfection. If a student blurts out a phrase at home, we consider that a win.
- Age-Specific Pacing: Our methodology shifts based on the age group. Toddlers get high-energy games and dance-based learning, while older students and teens delve into role-playing and real-world scenarios to prepare for genuine interactions.
Where we teach
We bring this dynamic learning style to preschools and community centers across Delhi NCR, in addition to our structured online trimesters. The result isn't just about learning a language; it is about building the focus, memory, and cognitive skills that help in every area of school life.
Learning Lingos
We are Eshleen and Daman, the siblings behind Learning Lingos. We started this because we wanted our students to yell 'Bravo!' and '¡Muy bien!' with genuine excitement, not just because they had to. Every game and song you see in these clips is designed by us to keep language learning feeling like a fun playdate, not a school lecture.
