Sacred Wedding Rituals and Ceremonial Moments
These are the moments that hold your wedding story together. I focus on capturing the emotion, sanctity, and quiet beauty of your rituals, from the Varmala to the Pheras.
The Varmala is such a peak moment of the wedding. I love to make it feel as epic as it is, using effects like this cloud of smoke and confetti to create a truly cinematic and unforgettable memory of the couple's exchange.
A simple, powerful gesture of love. The groom kissing the bride's forehead after the ceremony is a quiet, intimate moment that speaks volumes.
A tender kiss on the forehead during the wedding ceremony. This classic, romantic gesture is a beautiful expression of love and care between the couple.
A serene black and white photo taken during the ceremony. The bride's peaceful expression as she soaks in the moment, with her groom in the background, creates a timeless and emotional image.
A collage showing two key wedding rituals. The top photo captures the 'Kanyadaan' ceremony, while the bottom shows the groom applying the 'sindoor', both deeply significant moments.
The bridal entry is always a special moment. This collage shows the bride walking down the aisle under a beautiful 'phoolon ki chadar', escorted by her proud parents.
A classic posed portrait of the bride and groom on their wedding day. This shot showcases their beautiful traditional outfits against a vibrant floral backdrop.
This wedding highlight film showcases the key moments of Kirti and Pulkit's big day. From the venue entrance to the grand Varmala ceremony, it's a beautiful summary of their celebration.
A beautiful portrait of the couple looking at each other. This shot captures the love and connection between them on their wedding day, set against a colorful floral wall.
An intimate moment between the bride and groom. The groom gently lifts the bride's veil, a classic and romantic gesture that I love to capture.
About Sacred Vows & Ceremonies
My team knows that the Pheras and Varmala are sacred, not just a photoshoot. We use silent lenses and low-profile gear specifically so we never block your family's view or interrupt the solemnity of the ceremony. You won't see us running around the mandap; we stay on the sidelines to capture those raw tears and smiles without you even knowing we are there.
When you look back at your wedding photos years later, I want you to remember exactly how your heart raced during the Pheras or the joy you felt during the Varmala. These moments are the core of your day, and they require a specific approach.
Why Ritual Photography Matters
It is easy to get caught up in the production of a wedding, but the rituals are where the real story happens. Whether it is the quiet concentration during the Kanyadaan or the chaotic energy of the Baraat, these events move quickly. I bring a 4-person team specifically for your wedding days to ensure we have eyes on both sides of the family. While one person is focusing on the bride's expressions, another is capturing the groom's reactions or the parents watching from the sidelines.
My Approach to Mandap Coverage
I do not believe in posing rituals. If I ask you to stop and smile, the moment is lost. Instead, I let the ceremony unfold naturally. My style is to blend in, using natural light where possible to keep the mood authentic. If you are planning a grand destination wedding in Rishikesh or a traditional ceremony in Delhi, my goal remains the same: to document the sanctity of your commitment without making you feel like you are on a film set.
Handling The Chaos
Weddings are loud and crowded, and that is part of the fun. My team is trained to navigate these spaces respectfully. We coordinate with the venue planners to ensure we are positioned for the best angles during the Varmala confetti shots without getting in the way of the guests. We are here to document your day, not direct it.
