Handmade Crochet Dolls and Soft Toys
More than just toys, these are quiet companions crafted to hold your child's secrets. Each friend is stitched with intention, from the expressive Lily to our whimsical collection of soft characters.
This is Lily, my first handmade doll, looking bright and cheerful in her red dress. She is designed without a smile to be a comforting friend who can share in any feeling your child has.
A short video showcasing the creative details of Lily the Doll. You can see her removable shoes with pretty printed buttons, a feature that adds a fun, interactive element for playtime.
A side view of Lily, showing the detail in her bouncy, individually stitched brown curls. It took two full days to create her hair, and I think it gives her so much personality.
A close up of Lily's tiny red shoes, complete with little button clasps. Her shoes, like her dress, are completely removable, making dress-up play even more fun.
Meet my Silly Birds, two colorful owl friends enjoying a tiny cup of tea together. With their long, dangly legs and bright colors, they are made to bring a smile and a bit of fun wherever they go.
One of my Silly Bird owls has found a job as the 'Manager of Silliness' in a client's office. It makes me so happy to see my creations bringing a little bit of joy to everyday spaces.
Say hello to Lucky Ducky, a soft and squishy friend with a sweet, sad expression. Dressed in a cozy blue scarf, this handmade duck is ready for lots of cuddles.
Here is another look at Lucky Ducky, a plump and cheerful crochet toy. His bright orange beak and feet add a fun pop of color, making him a delightful companion for any child.
This is Maude the Rag Doll, with her sunny yellow hair and striped stockings. She was adopted so quickly I barely had time to photograph her, but I wanted to share her sweet, sleepy face.

About Handmade Dolls & Companions
I spend up to two full days just crafting the hair for my 19-inch dolls to ensure it can be styled, braided, or kept messy. Every outfit, right down to the tiny functional buttons on the shoes, is fully removable, which helps little fingers practice fine motor skills while they play.
When I design a doll like Lily, my goal is to create a friend, not just a toy. I follow Waldorf-inspired design principles, which means using neutral, gentle expressions. This allows a child to project their own emotions onto the doll. Whether they are feeling happy, quiet, or even a bit grumpy, the doll is there to listen.
My process is slow and intentional. For the 19-inch heirloom dolls, I use high-grade cotton yarn that feels soft against the skin. The hair is individually stitched so it holds up to years of styling, brushing, and affection. I pay close attention to the small things that matter for a child's development, like functional fasteners on clothes that help with dexterity.
For younger children, I offer dolls with fully embroidered eyes, eliminating any hard plastic parts. Everything I make, from the long-legged 'Silly Birds' that brighten up office desks to the squishy 'Lucky Ducky', is stuffed with premium, hypoallergenic polyfill. These toys are designed to survive tea parties, road trips, and many years of hugs. If you have a specific color theme for a nursery or a particular personality trait you want to capture, I can often customize the details to make the companion truly special for your little one.
