Handmade Cozy Crochet Sweaters and Cardigans
My sweaters are slow-made pieces using soft acrylic or wool-blends, designed to keep you warm and looking like a Pinterest board, stitch by stitch.
A mirror selfie in the pastel striped sweater. It has a classic crew neck and a relaxed fit that's super comfortable.
A custom grey and mint striped sweater I made for a client. I love the clean look of the stripes and the cozy feel of the finished piece.
The final look of the grey and mint striped sweater. It has a relaxed fit and is made from a soft, warm acrylic yarn.
The back view of the striped sweater, showing the raglan sleeve construction which gives it a great shoulder fit.
Another shot of the grey sweater. It's the kind of piece you just want to live in all winter.
A close-up on the texture and stitch definition of the handmade sweater. Every single stitch is done by me.
It took forever to make this black ribbed sweater, but the result was so worth it. The vertical ribbing is super flattering and it's so warm.
About Cozy Sweaters & Cardigans
Each sweater I make follows a specific process to ensure it keeps its shape. I use ribbed cuffs and hemlines to keep things from sagging, and I make sure every yarn end is securely woven in so your piece doesn't unravel after a wash. It is all about creating something that feels soft on your skin and lasts through the winter without losing that structured, handmade look.
When I start a new piece, I think about how it is going to hold up after you wear it a hundred times. I usually stick to high-grade acrylic or wool-blend yarns for my sweaters and cardigans because they hold heat well and do not pill easily. If you are into the oversized pullover vibe with raglan sleeves, I can do that. If you prefer a tighter, ribbed fit like the black piece in the gallery, I work on getting the tension just right so it hugs comfortably.
Since I am not a factory, please keep in mind that these take about 3 to 5 weeks depending on how busy things are. Because I do everything by hand, I can tailor the sleeve lengths to your arms so you are not constantly pulling them up. If you need a specific color-block style or a particular neckline, just send me a reference. Once we settle on the design, I send work-in-progress updates so you know exactly where your piece is at. Just remember to hand-wash these in cold water to keep them from shrinking.
