For large public events, the biggest challenge is maintaining energy during setup changes. I don't just stand at the mic; I fill those gaps with spontaneous mimicry, call-and-response chants, and direct crowd banter to make sure the vibe stays electric until the next performance starts.
Hosting a public festival in a city like Mumbai requires more than just speaking skills; it needs a host who can read the pulse of the crowd. I use my background in magic, mimicry, and ventriloquism to engage the crowd. This means I can transition from announcing a VIP guest to performing a five-minute comedy set without missing a beat. I work closely with local committees to ensure traditional rituals, like the Ukhana sessions or specific cultural performances, are introduced with the right level of respect and energy.
