About Montessori Early Education Program
Why We Do What We Do
At Kinfolk Montessori, I want every child to feel at home while they learn. My focus isn't just on ABCs - it's about building patience, curiosity, and kindness for life. Kids set their own pace here, and I support their journey, not rush them.
How We Learn Together
- Child led learning environment means no rigid schedules. I guide gently, watching what sparks each child's interest.
- Lots of hands-on, early childhood sensory play: geometric blocks, stories, and sensory bins that help build focus and problem-solving.
- Story time is a big deal - we use puppets, props, and local tales like "Kutti and the mouse", plus books about "Little Vinayak". Our library is always buzzing.
Nature Is Our Classroom
If you ask me, nothing beats the outdoors for learning. We plant seeds, splash in muddy puddles, and go on bug hunts. The nature based classroom helps kids discover respect for the planet without lectures.
Creativity and Practical Skills
Our Atelier packs in STEM activities for preschoolers, art, LEGO, and role play. Kids learn by building, painting, and making things like sun catchers or clay models. Practical life activities happen daily: pouring water, making snacks, cleaning up, and even crafting 'thorans' (festive hangings).
Community and Celebrations
We celebrate everything together - Diwali rangoli, Phoolon ki Holi (flower Holi), Christmas decorations, and songs for Independence Day. Families get involved too, especially for Grandparents' Day and Literature Fest.
Calm, Beautiful Spaces
Every corner is set up so children feel safe, respected, and free to choose their own work. Montessori materials are within reach, and the outdoors is always open for play or quiet time.

My Story
We built Kinfolk because we wanted a preschool that felt like a second home, not a busy maze. Sunlight, trees, open space - that’s our vibe. The best compliment? A parent once said, ‘My kid is happier here.’ Awards are nice, but watching our little folks laugh, learn, and grow together - that’s real pride. Kinfolk is more than just a school, it’s a community. Festivals, sports, stories, even parents get involved. That’s how we do things.
My Work
Montessori Program & Summer Camps - We offer an individualized Montessori program for ages 2-6, plus 'Wonder This Summer' camps and regular community events.
Individualized & Mixed-Age Learning - No cookie-cutter stuff. Kids learn at their own pace in mixed-age classrooms, mentoring each other.
Nature-Based & Practical Experiences - Mud play, gardening, field trips - real-world learning is our thing. Nature is everywhere here.
Creative, Safe Spaces - Classrooms are sunny, open, and full of Montessori materials. Kids have room to move, explore and create.
Caring Montessori-Trained Team - Our teachers are passionate, caring, and all Montessori-trained. Your child is in safe hands.
