About Cultural, Sports & Community Events
We see every event as an extension of our Montessori way of living, not just a break from routine. Our Annual Day is a true highlight - kids get to show off what they've learned all year, whether they're acting in a play about planets or bringing a favourite book to life. During Sports Day, it's all about moving, laughing, and learning agility and teamwork. Graduation Day? Always a tearjerker - those little caps and gowns get us every time.
Campus transforms completely for some of our biggest moments, like the Kinfolk Literature Festival. Storytellers, authors, and puppeteers fill the place with excitement, and it's easily one of the best days for families who love books. Our “Jathre” (that’s a proper village fair vibe, full on Kannada style) celebrates Karnataka’s heritage with folk art, yummy local snacks, and workshops like Chittara painting. Kids (and honestly, adults too) love getting their hands dirty making diyas for Diwali or sculpting clay Ganeshas during Ganesh Chaturthi.
We make sure families are always a part of the journey. Grandparents’ Day is full of laughter and nostalgia, and parents join in for everything from nature walks to workshops. We believe these parent-child school activities help everyone feel like they belong, and there’s nothing quite like seeing the whole family come together to cheer on our little ones.

My Story
We built Kinfolk because we wanted a preschool that felt like a second home, not a busy maze. Sunlight, trees, open space - that’s our vibe. The best compliment? A parent once said, ‘My kid is happier here.’ Awards are nice, but watching our little folks laugh, learn, and grow together - that’s real pride. Kinfolk is more than just a school, it’s a community. Festivals, sports, stories, even parents get involved. That’s how we do things.
