What Drives Us
At Dots Montessori, I see every child as naturally curious and capable. Kids don’t just sit and listen here - they get to move around, choose their own activities, and really get hands-on. Play isn’t just play, it’s how they build focus, confidence, and skills for life.
A Day in Our Space
We start with a bit of calm and chant ‘Gurur Brahma’ together. Kids pick their own ‘work’ whether it’s pouring water, tracing sandpaper letters, or building towers. I guide, but I also try to stay out of the way when a child is deep in concentration. You’ll spot little ones working quietly, sometimes in a group, sometimes solo. Everyone learns to respect each other’s space.
How We Learn
- Practical Life: Kids sweep, water plants, polish shoes - all real stuff that makes them independent and proud.
- Sensory Materials: We use things like Colour Tablets and Knobless Cylinders so kids can touch, see, and figure out their world.
- Numbers & Words: No rote learning. Kids use their hands, count beads or build words with our Moveable Alphabet.
- Big World: We do nature walks, puzzles of plants, and bring geography to life.
- Grace and Courtesy: Kids learn to greet with a namaste, help each other out, and wait their turn.
Our Community
We’re not just a school, we’re a mixed-age Montessori environment where families, teachers, and kids learn together. Ee dina (today), we may be singing a Kannada song or celebrating a festival. Birthdays are special with our ‘Walk Around The Sun’ and our annual UDAAN event is all about showing what the kids love.

My Story
Hey, we’re Dots Montessori. Been at this for 12 years, still chasing the magic of childhood. Here, it’s not just books and lessons—kids get their hands dirty, learn from nature walks, and even wash cars sometimes. Festivals, birthdays, we celebrate all. Our teachers? Always learning, sometimes practicing Kannada like 'ee dina naanu fan bagge helita idini' (today I am talking about the fan). We’re more a community than a school, and every child is seen and heard.
My Work
Montessori preschool, daycare & teacher training - We welcome toddlers 1.5+ years, offer parenting workshops, and Montessori Teacher Training certificate online.
Hands-on learning for kids - Kids do practical life skills activities, explore numbers with golden beads, and learn by doing at their own pace.
Whole child approach - Days start with mindful mornings chant, filled with art, yoga, and social-emotional learning. Not just academics.
Parent partnership - We run Hearts in Harmony parenting workshop—believe child’s growth is a team effort with parents.
