I’m an artist by heart and a corporate employee by day. Here’s a peek into my wardrobe, where I mix vibrant Indian handloom with local finds to stay comfortable and colorful.

Today was a dressy day for a meet-up. I'm wearing a beautiful dress from a local brand in Vizag, paired with hand-stitched leather brogues and a treasured neckpiece from an artist I admire.

Merry Christmas. For the holiday, I wore this gorgeous block print kurta and pants combo. I love how the three colors are blended so perfectly, and it's so comfortable.

You can't beat a comfy linen salwaar kameez, and this one has pockets. I paired this bright pink set with my favorite juttis for a look that's both stylish and easy to wear.

A burst of color to kick off the weekend. This playful, free-flowing dress is from a brand I discovered at an exhibition in Hyderabad. It was love at first sight.

Thursday is my favorite day of the week. Today's look is a block-printed kurta with a waistcoat and these bold mustard lace-up shoes to add a pop of personality.

Working from home has its perks, like being able to wear a comfy long skirt and crop top. These are old favorites I found at a local store years ago, and I love keeping them in rotation.

A love letter to the beauty of Indian weaves. This gorgeous cotton handloom sari is perfect for Hyderabad summers and office celebrations.

Had the best day at the office with a fun cricket match. I kept it comfy and casual in my favorite jeans, a cute crop top, and this colorful jacket that goes with everything.

It's a linen shirt and dainty chain kind of day. A simple, classic look with blue jeans and brogues for the perfect start to the week.

A full-length view of my beautiful Dhonekhali cotton handloom sari. I love supporting brands that keep the tradition of Indian textiles alive.

About My Style Corner

I don't really follow seasonal trends, I just wear what makes me feel like myself. Whether it is a breathable handloom sari for office days or a vibrant block-print dress for a weekend meetup, my wardrobe is built around pieces from local artisans and smaller Indian brands that I have discovered at exhibitions or through years of hunting for treasures in local markets.

My style, much like my art, is a riot of color. You won’t find me in beige or dull tones because I believe what you wear affects how you feel throughout the day. I have a deep love for Indian weaves like Dhonekhali cotton and block prints, which are perfect for the Hyderabad heat while keeping me connected to our traditional textile roots.

I treat my clothes like my art pieces—I love mixing and matching. It is quite common to see me pairing a vintage skirt I found years ago with a modern crop top, or accessorizing a classic linen look with a bold, handcrafted neckpiece. Most of the jewelry and accessories I wear are sourced from independent makers I meet at pop-ups or art festivals.

Fashion for me is about comfort and functionality. If a garment doesn't have pockets or isn't comfortable enough to sit in for hours while I paint or work, it rarely makes the cut. I also make it a point to support sustainable fashion and brands that prioritize craftsmanship. If you see me in something that catches your eye, it is usually because it tells a story—whether it is a piece of fabric hand-woven by a master artisan or a little gem picked up during a trip to Vizag or Delhi. Dressing up is just another way for me to express that same joy I pour into my own handmade torans and murals.
