About Casual & Urban Maternity Shoots
A casual session with us isn't about perfectly posed photos. We spend three to four hours walking around a location you like, maybe a park or a quiet urban spot, capturing how you actually interact. You get two to three outfit changes, and we focus on getting those natural, unscripted laughs rather than forcing a specific look.
When we talk about urban maternity photography, it’s really about comfort. Pregnancy can be exhausting, so the last thing you need is a rigid studio session with bright lights and uncomfortable chairs. We prefer meeting you at a location that means something to you—whether it’s that park where you go for evening walks or a quiet urban corner in Bandra or South Mumbai.
The process is simple: we block out three to four hours. This isn't a race. It gives us time to find the right light, take breaks, and let you get comfortable in front of the lens. You can bring two or three outfits—keep it casual like your favourite jeans or a summer dress. If you have props, bring those too, but don’t stress about needing a theme.
We often shoot in the golden hour to get that natural warmth, avoiding harsh midday sun. Since we focus on candid shots, you won't hear us saying 'hold that pose for five seconds.' We’ll prompt you to walk, talk, or just sit on a bench, and we’ll capture the moments in between.
For deliverables, we provide 100 to 150 raw proofs within a few days so you can pick your favourites. From there, we edit 25 to 40 high-resolution images. It’s a low-pressure, high-reward way to document this chapter without it feeling like a chore.
