About this collection
If you're coming for the kayaking, my tip is to aim for late afternoon. The lake is calmest right before sunset, and the light on the water makes for a completely different experience than the midday sun. It’s perfect for a slow, peaceful paddle before we get the bonfire going at camp.
Many folks head to Ananthagiri Hills primarily for the trekking, but the water sports on Sarpanpally Lake are the hidden gem of our campsite setup. We aren't about high-speed jet skis or chaotic crowds. This is about getting out on the water, finding a bit of silence, and actually hearing yourself think.
What to expect on the water
We keep our kayaking and pedal boating sessions focused on relaxation. The lake at Sarpanpally is naturally calm, which makes it an ideal spot for beginners who have never held a paddle before. We provide life jackets and give you a quick briefing on the basics before you push off the shore.
Solo vs. Team paddling
If you want a workout, take a solo kayak and head toward the deeper stretches of the reservoir. If you're here with a partner or a friend, the tandem kayaks are the way to go—just be prepared for a bit of splashing if you can't agree on who is steering.
Timing your visit
Because we operate this as part of our campsite experience, the water is generally most accessible during our weekend getaways. If you are joining us for an overnight stay, you can roll out of your tent and be on the water while the morning mist is still lifting off the surface. It’s a very different vibe from the high-energy trekking or ATV rides we run, so we recommend blocking out a couple of hours in your itinerary just to drift, paddle, and take in the view without rushing.
Infinite Adventure Club
We started Infinite Adventure Club because we were tired of the city grind and wanted a place to unplug. We set up our base right here by the lake so you can wake up, walk out, and be on the water in minutes. It is just us, the lake, and anyone looking for a bit of real adventure.
