About this collection

My technique relies on homemade, organic paste that flows smoothly for those super fine lines. When I do intricate lotus or peacock patterns, I focus on creating 'breathing space' in the design so every detail pops in your photos instead of just looking like a blur.

Every line and dot matters when I am working on your bridal henna. The difference between a good design and a stunning one is often in the shading and the cleanliness of the application.

The 'Bharwa' vs. Fine-Line Balance

Many brides ask if they have to choose between a full, dense 'Bharwa' style and modern, minimal art. My approach is to blend them. I use dense traditional fillers like jaali work to create richness, but I keep the main motifs—like the dome-style arches or lotus patches—sharp and clearly defined. This contrast is what makes the design stand out in pictures.

Why the Dome Motif?

I love using architectural elements like the dome-style beginning. It is trendy, yes, but it is also a perfect frame. It lets me fit tiny details—like elephants, dancers, or even a hidden wedding hashtag—without making the arm look cluttered.

My Process

When we work together, I make my own organic henna paste. It is filtered for consistency, which is non-negotiable if you want those clean lines. I also apply a lemon-sugar sealant to ensure the henna stays put while it is drying, which is crucial for getting that deep, dark stain. Whether you are in South Mumbai, Bandra, or anywhere across the metropolitan area, I travel to you with the same focus. I limit my bridal bookings to one a day, so you get my full attention until the last line is drawn.
