About Featured
The biggest difference between a patchy stain and a deep, dark one is the filtration of the powder. I use 5-filter Sojat henna from Rajasthan because it creates a silky, lump-free paste that will not clog your cone tips. This is the exact same standard I demand for my own bridal clients in Borivali, and it ensures your work looks smooth every single time.
Why I opened up my stash
I get a lot of DMs asking what I use, so I decided to share my own professional-grade supplies. Whether you are learning, practicing on yourself, or working on bridal clients, 'sahi cheez' (the right stuff) matters.
What I offer
I have put together kits based on my daily work routine:
- DIY Mehendi Starter Kit: The perfect kit for beginners. It includes 300g of my 5-filter powder, a blend of Nilgiri and Bridal oils, plus essential tools like stockings, cellophane, and piping bags. You can easily make 10 to 15 bridal cones with this.
- Professional Cone Rolling Set: If you already have your paste ready, this includes 100 pre-cut cellophane sheets, high-strength piping bags, and stainless steel pins to seal your tips.
- Bulk Artist Refills: For my fellow artists, I offer 1kg pouches of my 5-filter powder and 500ml oil bottles, vacuum-sealed to prevent oxidation and keep the quality high.
A few tips for the perfect stain
Mehendi is my bhakti (devotion), and the process is just as important as the design. Always soak your powder for at least 3 hours—though overnight is best for maximum dye release. Once you mix your paste, keep it in the fridge if you are not using it immediately; it stays fresh for about 36 hours. If you are struggling with lumpy paste, use the stockings provided in the kit to filter your mix before filling your cones.
Everything ships directly from my studio in Borivali, Mumbai.
