About this collection
As a mobile hairstylist, I bring the studio to you. My process begins with prepping your hair for durability—using heat protectants and securing the base properly so your look holds up, whether you are dealing with humidity or a long day of wedding ceremonies. I arrive at your home or venue with my full kit, including high-grip pins, fresh flowers, and all necessary styling tools, so you can relax while I handle the rest.
How I Prepare Your Look
1. The Consultation & Prep Before I start styling, we talk about your hair type and the outfit you have chosen. I always begin by detangling and applying professional heat protectants. If we are doing a look that requires volume, I use root crimping or padding to ensure the foundation is secure.
2. On-Site Styling I am a freelancer, which means I come to your venue. Whether you need a traditional South Indian bridal braid (jada), a sleek bun, or modern Hollywood waves, I bring all the necessary equipment—blow dryers, ceramic curlers, and texturizing products. My goal is to ensure the hairstyle stays in place from the first ceremony to the last photo.
3. The Finishing Touches This is where the look comes together. For traditional looks, I handle the placement of your billai and jadanagam with thread and pins. If you want fresh flowers, I sew or pin them securely into the braid or bun to match your saree or lehenga. I also assist with basic draping pins to make sure your dupatta sits correctly with your hairstyle.
4. Handling the Elements I understand that hair behaves differently depending on the climate. I adjust my setting sprays and product usage based on the weather in Mysore to prevent frizz and flyaways. My priority is that your hair looks exactly the way you want it without you needing to worry about maintenance during your event.
