Every album I build uses 8x8 inch heavy cardstock, designed with specific paper-craft mechanisms like waterfalls and pull-outs that reveal your photos when opened. Whether you have 20 photos or 30, I layout the page spreads to make sure your story flows chronologically, protecting your prints from fading while adding a personal, tactile touch that digital photos just cannot replicate.
Building a memory album is a deeply collaborative process. We start by discussing the occasion, whether it is a milestone birthday, an anniversary, or a tribute to a celebrity you admire. Once I understand your theme, I select patterned papers and embellishments that fit the vibe, from vintage florals to sleek, modern aesthetics.
I do not just glue pictures down. I create interactive elements. When you flip a page, a photo might pop up, or a hidden note might slide out. This makes the album a living, breathing object. I typically include 10 to 12 pages in my standard 8x8 inch builds, which gives us plenty of space to mount 20 to 30 of your best photos securely.
