My Approach to Creative Color
- Pre-Lightening with Care: For vivid reds, plums, or blues to really pop, the hair often needs to be lightened first. I use Wella Blondorplex for this because it lifts the hair while protecting the internal structure.
- Custom Pigment Mixing: I don't pull colors off a shelf and apply them directly. I mix custom blends of Wella Color Fresh Create or Magma to achieve that specific deep burgundy, vibrant magenta, or teal you are looking for.
- The 'Peekaboo' & Face-Framing: If you are hesitant about going fully bold, I suggest starting with peekaboo highlights or face-framing pops. These give you a fun, colorful vibe that is easy to manage and professional enough for any office environment.
