Destination & Cultural Wedding Films
I love moving beyond the city to tell love stories in new landscapes. Whether it is a coastal vibe in Goa or a cultural ceremony in a quiet hillside resort, I am there to catch the magic.
Capturing Pooja and Bhavesh's beautiful Hindu wedding in Mahabaleshwar was a joy. This film showcases my experience with destination weddings, using drone shots to capture the stunning landscape and focusing on the vibrant traditions and deep family connections.
Sharon and Peter's story began with music, and we wove that theme throughout their film, from the wedding day to their post wedding shoot in Goa. This film highlights how I can extend your story beyond the wedding day, creating a more complete narrative in beautiful locations.
This film from Siyona and Leor's Jewish wedding in Mumbai shows my passion for capturing diverse cultural ceremonies. You can even hear me in the background saying 'अरे हो जाएगा सब, we'll have fun', which is exactly my approach. I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere so you can be yourselves.
This is not a wedding, but a post wedding shoot seven years after the big day. We traveled to a beautiful haveli in Rajasthan to create this fairytale film. It shows that your story doesn't end at the wedding, and I am available for creative post wedding shoots to continue capturing your love.
This teaser from Siyona and Leor's Jewish wedding offers a glimpse into the vibrant energy and rich traditions of their celebration. It highlights the happy bride, the couple's connection, and the joyous reactions of their family and friends.
About Destination & Cultural Weddings
Destination weddings are about more than just the location. When I shoot in places like Mahabaleshwar or Rajasthan, I prioritize audio clarity despite the wind or ambient noise of open venues. This ensures the raw emotion of your vows isn't lost, keeping the film grounded and intimate.
How I Approach Destination & Cultural Weddings
Moving a production team to a new city requires a different kind of focus. It is not just about bringing 4K Sony mirrorless cameras and drone gear for those sweeping landscape shots; it is about adapting to the unique rhythm of your wedding. Whether I am documenting a Jewish ceremony in Mumbai or a Hindu wedding in a remote haveli, I look for the specific cultural threads that make your day unique.
My Process
- Pre-Wedding Scout: I arrive with the mindset of 'Arre ho jayega sab' (Hey, everything will be fine). When you are calm, the best footage happens. I scope the venue for natural light and quiet corners where we can capture those multi-layered, authentic moments.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Every culture has its own tempo. I immerse myself in the rituals, ensuring I am in the right place to capture the quiet glances and family traditions without intruding on the sanctity of the ceremony.
- Audio-First Storytelling: In open-air destination settings, sound is tricky. I use dedicated lapel mics and high-quality recorders to ensure your vows, speeches, and the ambient sounds of the environment are crisp, not just the visuals.
Travel & Logistics
I am based in Mumbai, but my gear and team are ready to travel across India. From the beaches of Goa to the heritage properties of Rajasthan, I have the logistical experience to handle multi-day setups. All travel and accommodation for the crew are managed to ensure we are ready to shoot from the first haldi ceremony to the final vidaai.
