Professional Milestones and Legal Recognition
A look back at the awards and defining moments that helped build Ma'at Advisors into the firm it is today.
Holding my BW Legal 30 Under 30 award. It was a fantastic feeling to be included in this elite club, and this honor is a testament to the collective effort of everyone who has supported me.
On stage receiving the BW Legal 30 Under 30 award. This recognition for my work, especially in a niche like fashion law, is something I am incredibly proud of.
A portrait from the BW Legal 30 Under 30 awards night. This honor is not just a personal achievement but a reflection of the support from my mentors, family, and clients.
Standing with fellow honorees of the BW Legal 30 Under 30 list. It was inspiring to be among such a talented group of young legal professionals.
Ecstatic to have won the HerRising 2021 Women Starter award. This recognition means so much, and I'm grateful to my family for teaching me the importance of being an independent woman.
It was a proud moment to be featured in the 'OS in the Spotlight' by the Old Sanawarian Society, my alma mater. This was in recognition of the BW Legal award.
Another look at the 'OS in the Spotlight' feature, where I was listed among other distinguished alumni. I am always proud to call myself an Old Sanawarian.
I was invited to speak at the JGSLS Young Scholars Colloquium about my experience transitioning from law school to the workplace. I truly enjoy sharing my litigation journey with students.

This graphic marks four years of Ma'at Advisors. I started my boutique fashion law firm with nothing but a laptop and a vision, and I'm so proud of how far it has come.
About Recognition & Milestones
These accolades are not just highlights for a bio. They represent four years of fighting cases and helping creators navigate complex legal hurdles from the day Ma'at Advisors started as a laptop on my desk.
My legal journey started during the second wave of COVID with a simple goal: to make the law accessible for those in the creative and fashion industries. Being named in the BW Legal 30 Under 30 list or winning the HerRising award feels significant not for the trophies, but because they confirm that specific, accessible legal support for designers and artists is long overdue.
Whether I am drafting contracts for a new fashion label or representing clients at the Supreme Court, my goal remains the same. I want to simplify the process and avoid the usual confusion. I also find time to conduct workshops for law students and young creators, because I believe the law should not feel like a secret language. These moments on stage or in publications are part of my ongoing commitment to being a transparent, accessible advocate for every client I represent.

I launched Ma'at Advisors from my desk during the pandemic, and the journey from there to being recognized by BW Legal has been a whirlwind. I don't believe in just filing papers; I believe in demystifying the law for the people who create, design, and innovate.
