Behind the Briefs: A Glimpse Into My Practice
Litigation is not just robes and courtrooms. It is hours of research, endless cups of chai, and a chaotic desk where strategies are built. Here is the reality of my daily grind.
A candid moment at my desk, which is my very sacred, messy, and disorganized space. It's filled with case files, personal touches, and the focused energy of a litigator at work.
My desk at the start of the year, surrounded by the familiar clutter of law books, files, and coffee. This is where the strategies are built and the arguments are drafted.
My office is my sanctuary and my second home. It's a space of organized chaos, filled with case files and the tools of my trade.
This is my sanctuary, surrounded by mounds of files and sipping on chai. It's in these quiet moments of preparation that cases are often won.
A smile from my office chair. This photo was taken to mark five years in litigation, a journey of learning and growing that started from a simple desk at home.
Smiling through the deadlines and the drafts. My office is where I turn legal know-how and a desire to build something of my own into a reality for my clients.
A moment of gratitude in the office. The view reminds me of the bigger picture, but my focus is always on the details of the case in front of me.
An elevator selfie on the way to court, files in hand. This is a typical moment in my day, capturing the constant motion of a litigator's life.
Another elevator selfie, this one from my five-year anniversary post. These moments of rushing to court are a core part of the litigation experience.
A quick selfie after a good day in court. Here's to many more favorable orders and successful outcomes for my clients.
About Behind the Briefs: A Litigator's Life
Behind every successful appearance is a desk buried in paperwork and a lot of caffeine. Whether I am drafting petitions for the High Court or prepping for a Supreme Court hearing, my space is where the actual strategy happens. It is not always neat, but every file here represents a client who is counting on me to show up fully prepared for the fight.
There is a massive gap between the perception of a litigator's life and the reality of it. The photos you see here represent the five-year journey of building Ma'at Advisors, from a laptop on a dining table to navigating the corridors of the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court.
The Daily Hustle
Litigation is essentially a marathon, not a sprint. My days are often split between physical court appearances, which require the classic black and white uniform, and virtual hearings that demand a different kind of digital readiness. There are no glamorous moments, only 'effective hearings' where preparation meets opportunity.
My Approach to Your Case
When you look at my workspace, you see stacks of files. That is intentional. I handle my own research, drafting, and filings because the devil is in the details.
- Civil & Property Disputes: Whether dealing with land reforms or complex contractual disagreements, I focus on building a strong evidentiary chain from day one.
- Supreme Court & High Court Litigation: I specialize in appellate work and high-stakes constitutional matters. The goal is always to present arguments that are sharp, concise, and backed by precedent.
- Legal Strategy: I believe in demystifying the law. If you come to me with a dispute, I will walk you through the process, the risks, and the timeline, so you are never left wondering what is happening in your case.
Why It Matters
I do not believe in sugarcoating the legal process. It is a slow, often unpredictable road. My job is to be the steady hand that guides you through the noise of the courtroom. If you are looking for someone to handle your litigation with a blend of professional rigor and honest communication, let's talk.
