About Beauty for Every Generation
When working with mature skin, less is almost always more. My approach focuses on deep hydration and a lightweight, satin-finish base that blurs fine lines rather than settling into them. The goal is a look that feels breathable and radiant throughout the wedding day, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable in every photo.
There is a specific kind of beauty that comes with maturity, and my job is simply to enhance it. For mothers of the bride and groom, I move away from the heavy layers that defined older makeup trends, opting instead for a polished, soft-glam look that prioritizes skin health.
My Approach to Mature Skin
Every look starts with an extensive CTM (Cleansing, Toning, Moisturizing) routine. I use luxury skincare to prep the canvas, focusing on under-eye hydration and lip conditioning. By keeping the skin plump and hydrated, I ensure that the makeup sits beautifully without creasing.
The Soft-Focus Finish
Instead of full-matte, I lean toward a satin finish. This gives a natural glow that catches the light without highlighting texture. For the eyes, I focus on soft shimmers and earthy, warm tones that open up the eyes gently, avoiding harsh liners or dark, heavy smokey looks.
