About Aroid Collector's Corner
We ship these delicate aroids using specialized soilless mixes containing perlite, orchid bark, and coco-chips to ensure roots arrive healthy and free from rot. While we pack with care using secure cardboard bracing, these plants are living things and may need a few days of acclimatization in bright, indirect light after unboxing to settle into your home.
Rare Aroids for Your Collection
The aroid family is diverse, offering everything from the fenestrated leaves of a Monstera esqueleto to the unique, finger-like foliage of the Anthurium digitatum. Our nursery focuses on sourcing and propagating these specific varieties, prioritizing genetic health and active growth over mass production.
Why Our Aroid Mix Matters
Standard soil often holds too much moisture, leading to the root rot that plagues many indoor gardens. We have developed a custom aroid-specific substrate—a porous blend of orchid bark, charcoal, perlite, and coco-chips. This allows for the high drainage and airflow that species like Philodendrons and Monsteras require to thrive. Whether you are adding to an existing collection or starting your first aroid, using the right substrate is the single biggest factor in long-term success.
Shipping & Acclimatization
We ship plants across India from our Mysore facility. Because we prioritize the health of the plant, we use moisture-retaining moss for the root ball and rigid packaging to stabilize the stems. When your plant arrives, it is normal for it to look slightly tired after transit. Place it in a high-humidity spot with gentle, indirect light for 48 to 72 hours before moving it to its permanent location. Avoid repotting immediately, as this adds extra stress to the plant.
