High-Energy Baraat & Procession Hosting
I don't just stand there; I get on the DJ truck or walk with the crowd to make sure your baraat feels like a celebration, not just a walk to the venue. Whether it is a traditional procession or a Baraat on Wheels, I bring the energy, manage the music, and make sure the groom feels like royalty.
Leading a 'Baraat on Wheels' with full energy. I use a mix of Hindi and Gujarati to get every single baraati dancing and celebrating with the groom.
Another angle from the 'Baraat on Wheels', showing the scale and excitement. I'm right there on the truck, hyping up the crowd and making sure the energy is through the roof.
In the heart of the baraat, interacting with the groom and his family. It's all about creating a personal connection and making sure the groom feels like a king.
Holding up my cue card but still right in the middle of the action. Even in a chaotic, high-energy baraat, I keep the flow going and the excitement high.
About this collection
When I host a baraat, my job is not just talking, it is managing the chaos. I work directly with your DJ to time the song drops, control the pace of the procession so we reach the gate on time, and handle the microphone while moving on a truck or in a crowd. You need someone who knows how to keep the hype up for two hours straight without losing the crowd's attention.
Baraats are chaotic by design, but they need a rhythm to work. Without a dedicated host, the energy can dip or the procession can move too fast for the photographer or too slow for the venue timing.
I view the baraat as a narrative. We start with high-energy chants and traditional calls to build momentum. Then, as we move closer to the venue, I coordinate with the DJ for specific track shifts that match the vibe of the family. Since I am fluent in Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, and Kannada, I engage guests from different backgrounds simultaneously. If I see the older uncles standing on the sidelines, I call them in to dance. If the groom's friends are flagging, we start a spontaneous dance-off.
Whether we are on a ‘Baraat on Wheels’ truck or walking the traditional route, I handle the technical logistics. I am comfortable with roaming mics and ensure the sound setup works even in outdoor, moving environments. Don't treat the baraat as just background noise. It is the first impression your wedding makes. Give me the mic and the freedom to read the room, and I will turn a simple walk into the main event.
Ruchi Shah
I am Ruchi. I did not plan on becoming a wedding host, but here I am, loving the energy and the hustle. When I am not on stage, I am probably figuring out how to make a shy crowd dance or learning a new language phrase. I am all about keeping things real, high-energy, and completely focused on your vibe.
