About Ultra-Endurance: The Randonneurs
It is not just about the distance; it is about having a crew that will pace you through a 600km brevet when your legs are screaming. We have had riders like 78-year-old Ansari Ji crush his first SR title on a tandem bike with our support. Whether it is mechanical assistance at 3 AM on a highway or finding the best parathas to fuel your ride, we make sure the road feels a little less lonely.
Beyond the Finish Line: The Randonneuring Journey
For us, Randonneuring is more than a sport. It is a test of character. When you set out to earn your Super Randonneur (SR) title by completing the series of 200, 300, 400, and 600 km brevets, you need more than just a bike. You need a tribe.
Why Ride with EDR?
- Support & Pacing: We believe no rider should be left behind. Our veterans provide real-time tips on cadence and posture, helping you manage energy levels across long highway stretches.
- Mental Grit: These rides are often a battle of the mind. We share the workload, draft for each other, and keep the morale high when the sun goes down or the headwinds get tough.
- The Experience: It is not all suffering. It is about the shared silence at sunrise, the chaotic energy at the dhaba pitstops, and the pride of wearing that medal with your friends.
What to Expect on a BRM:
These are self-supported endurance rides under the Audax format. While we provide the group support, strategy, and navigation help, you are responsible for your own machine. We advise all members to carry basic spares, ensure their lights are functional, and have their hydration strategy sorted before the 5:00 AM rollout.
If you have the junoon (passion) to push your limits, we have the routes and the support system to get you there. Aa jao saarey, let us conquer those kilometers together.
