Traditional Ayurvedic Kajal for Sensitive Eyes
We combine authentic Bhringraj soot with cooling herbal oils to create a kajal that is safe for babies yet delivers a deep, jet-black finish.
This is how I make my 100% baby-safe kajal. I collect soot from a cloth wick dipped in Bhringraj extract, ensuring it's pure and traditional.
My handmade kajal is a multi-tasker. Use it to line your waterline, fill in sparse brows, or create a smudge-proof smoky eye base. It's 100% natural and toxin-free.
Want your herbal kajal to stay longer? Here's a hack: dust it with my talc-free Organic Tinted Face Powder after you apply it.
This is a bestseller. It's addictive, loaded with goodness, jet-black, and even kids-safe. Guess the product and get it for free.
About Traditional Ayurvedic Kajal
Unlike conventional eyeliners that use synthetic carbon or harsh chemicals, my kajal relies on traditionally burnt Bhringraj soot. Because it is oil-based and free from setting agents, it might smudge if you have oily lids. To fix this, simply dust a tiny amount of our talc-free tinted powder along your waterline after applying to set it perfectly for the day.
Why Bhringraj Soot?
Most store-bought kajals are essentially charcoal or carbon black suspended in mineral oil. I take the traditional route. I collect soot from a cotton cloth wick dipped in Bhringraj extract. It is a slow, old-school process, but it ensures the product is gentle on your eyes and actually nourishing rather than drying.
Is it just for the waterline?
Not at all. Because it is a clean, herbal formula, it acts as a multitasker in your vanity kit. Use it as:
- Brow filler: Use an angled brush to fill in sparse areas for a natural, soft look.
- Smoky eye base: Apply it to the lid and blend with your finger for a quick, lived-in look.
- Waterline definer: The classic use, perfect for sensitive eyes that usually react to chemical liners.
The 'No-Nonsense' Promise
I make this in small batches in my Bengaluru kitchen. You will never find mineral oil, parabens, or artificial fragrances here. Whether you are using this on your infant or applying it before a long workday, you are only putting herbs and natural oils near your eyes. If you are used to waterproof synthetic liners, this will feel different. It is softer, easier to remove, and kinder to your skin in the long run.
EcoBerry
I grew up on my paati's (grandma's) herbal hacks, and that is exactly how I make my kajal. I hand-collect the soot and blend it with castor and almond oils so it is safe enough for a baby but works for a full glam look too.
