About At the Console
People think it is just about hitting play, but it is actually about reading the room. I spend hours before every gig mixing genres and preparing transitions so that when the bass drops, the energy is already at its peak. Whether it is a Bollywood sangeet or a high-energy club night, I make sure the flow stays tight and the crowd stays hooked.
When I am at the console, my goal is simple: authenticity over perfection. I do not just play tracks. I curate a flow that shifts with the crowd. For a Bollywood event, I might start with smooth, singalong melodies to set the mood before building up to heavy BDM remixes that get everyone on the dance floor. If it is a club gig, I lean into House and Hip-Hop, playing with bass drops and live looping to keep the vibe fresh.
Every performance involves:
- Crowd Reading: I watch how you react. If the energy dips, I pivot the set instantly. No two nights sound exactly the same.
- Technical Precision: I work with VJs and light jockeys to sync visuals with the music, ensuring the lights, lasers, and LED loops hit right when the beat changes.
