About Behind the Decks
My process starts long before the first track plays. Whether it is a wedding sangeet or a high-energy club night, I spend time understanding your crowd's taste to ensure the transition between genres is seamless. I do not hide behind the equipment; I actively host, using the microphone to build anticipation and keep the dance floor packed.
Great parties are not just about the playlist. They are about the connection between the person on the console and the people on the dance floor. When I am behind the decks in Delhi NCR, my focus is on maintaining the mahaul—that specific vibe that makes guests drop everything and join in.
My Approach to Live Mixing
I utilize professional Pioneer DJ controllers paired with high-end JBL sound setups to ensure the bass hits right. My performance style involves:
- Active Hosting: I use the mic to hype the crowd, announce transitions, and keep the energy high.
- Genre Versatility: I mix Bollywood remixes, Punjabi pop, house, and hip-hop, adjusting the set based on how the room is moving.
- Crowd Interaction: I thrive on reading the room. If the crowd wants more, I am always ready to drop another banger instead of sticking to a rigid, pre-recorded set.
Technical Production
For events requiring a full setup, I bring complete production, including moving head lights, LED Par Cans, and smoke machines to transform the venue. If your venue already has a sound system, I am comfortable with a plug-and-play setup using my own controllers and interface. My goal is to handle the logistics so you can focus on enjoying the night. Whether it is a small, intimate gathering or a large-scale festival rig, I ensure the sound and lighting are calibrated for the space.
