Being a DJ has its highs and lows. There was a moment where I honestly started losing the love for it… then one event with @arveeofficial changed everything. We’re lucky to meet so many amazing couples on their big day. And somehow, every time, we go from being part of the wedding to becoming real friends. When I’m on the mic, I’m not just making announcements—I’m setting the tone for the entire room. I often run interactive crowd games, like musical chairs with a high-stakes twist, designed to get even your shyest cousin off their seat and moving. It’s about building a rhythm that makes every guest feel like a part of the party, not just a spectator.
People think a DJ just stands there and mixes tracks. That isn't how I roll. For me, the DJ booth is just the starting point. When I’m on the mic, I’m tracking the room’s energy and shifting gears when the floor needs a lift. Whether it’s an intimate Sangeet in London or a massive reception in a palace, I’m the one connecting the music to the guests.
My style is rooted in Indo-House and Bhangra, but I like to push boundaries with Afro House and commercial hits. I create custom remixes for entrance moments, so you aren't just walking into a generic song—you’re walking into your own anthem. When the vibe is right, I’ll bring in live saxophonists or dhol players to add that extra layer of organic sound. We build the set around the crowd, not a pre-planned list.
I also focus on hosting that actually connects. No stiff announcements or dry intros. I keep the flow moving, run games that force people to put their phones down and join the madness, and handle all the hosting duties with a British-Asian flair that keeps everyone engaged.
