About Featured
One thing I insist on for the best sound is a solid 30-minute sound check. Whether it is just me on the console or when I bring a live percussionist to layer dhol beats over the tracks, that time ensures the bass and the microphone levels are perfectly balanced before your guests even walk in.
I don't believe in hiding behind the console. My sets are about interaction. Whether I am playing at a high-end wedding in Delhi, a corporate gig, or headlining clubs in Thailand and Nepal, my goal is to keep the energy rising throughout the night. I specialize in Bollywood-Punjabi mixes that are heavy on bass and high on tempo.
Why my sets work
- The Hype Factor: I don't just play tracks. I get on the mic, engage the crowd, and keep the momentum going. I watch the room—if the energy dips, I adjust the mix instantly.
- Versatility: I can handle a solo commercial set for a cocktail night or collaborate with live percussionists for a full-scale baraat or sangeet party. Adding a percussionist like Vipin Sagar changes the whole dynamic, bringing a raw, live rhythm to electronic tracks.
- International Experience: Performing across the USA, Thailand, and Nepal has taught me how to read diverse crowds. I bring that same professional standard and global vibe back to my Delhi club nights.
Technical requirements
For all bookings, I require a standard Pioneer CDJ console and a professional PA system at the venue. I bring my own laptop, software (Serato/Rekordbox), and headphones.
