About Club & Lounge Vibe
I don’t rely on pre-recorded mixes. Every set I play is live and adapted to the crowd’s energy in real-time. Whether it is shifting from deep house during cocktails to high-tempo techno for the main event, I ensure the transitions are seamless and the floor stays active.
My Approach to the Floor
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all playlists. My job is to read the room—whether it is a late-night club set or a terrace party—and adjust the flow accordingly. I start by sensing the mood, and then I guide the crowd through a progression of genres, usually moving from smooth Afro house and commercial hits into heavier techno or high-energy hip hop as the night peaks.
Genres I Play
- Hip Hop & Commercial: These are my go-to for crowds that want singalongs and high-energy dance tracks.
- Techno & House: This is where I go when the night gets late and the energy needs to be consistent and driving. I run regular techno nights in Bangalore, so I know how to build tension and release.
- Afro House: I often mix in these grooves when the vibe is a bit more relaxed but still demands movement.
Technical Requirements
For performance-only bookings, I require a standard professional setup. I work exclusively with the Pioneer CDJ 2000NXS2 and DJM 900 mixer. I do not perform on basic controllers or entry-level hardware because the sound quality and responsiveness are essential for the style of mixing I do. If you are hiring me for an audio-only package, ensure your venue has a robust PA system—I bring my own professional headphones and USB drives with high-fidelity files.
