About On The Decks & Artist Moments
When I put together an artist lineup, I'm thinking about the energy flow from those first lounge vibes at 118 BPM to the peak-time 126 BPM. Whether it's pairing a local DJ for a warm-up with an international headliner, my goal is to build a seamless audio journey where every artist has their moment to shine and the crowd stays locked into the rhythm.
For me, the music is only half the battle. The rest is about the people I bring into the space. I've always believed that a festival or club night is defined by the chemistry between the artists on the bill.
When I work on a lineup for a show like Soul Fest or a club night in Bangalore, I look for a balance of styles. I want the warm-up act to set the tone, not just play background noise. I want the headliner to take the energy where it needs to go. This approach means I handle the technical riders and hospitality for guest artists, making sure they can just focus on their set while I handle the logistics.
I have shared the stage with artists like Tuhin Mehta and Katrin Avgust, and those moments taught me that collaboration pushes everyone to play better. It is why I focus on local talent as much as international stars. Whether it's an open-air festival in Goa or a high-intensity pop-up in a city club, my focus remains the same: a real, raw connection. If you are looking to assemble a lineup that creates an actual audio adventure for your venue, let's talk about how we can get that rhythm going together. 🚀
