I create spaces that blend the warmth of traditional Indian materials with clean, modern living. From exposed brick walls to cooling natural stone flooring, I focus on crafting homes that feel grounded, open, and uniquely yours.

A traditional wooden swing (jhula) is the heart of this living space, set against a backdrop of a double-height jali screen and Jaisalmer marble inlay flooring. This is the essence of my Indian Modern design philosophy.

Another view of the living room in the Banashankari residence, where the wooden swing invites relaxation. The space is a dialogue between traditional craft and contemporary openness, bathed in natural light.

A render for an upcoming duplex in South Bangalore, designed with a distinctly Indian theme. This view shows the living area with a traditional jhula, repurposed vernacular columns, and an exposed brick wall.

This render shows the view from the courtyard into the living space of the South Bangalore duplex. The design uses Kota stone flooring and a central tree to create a seamless connection between the interior and a natural, earthy feel.

A render of the living room, highlighting the use of cane and teakwood furniture, curated Indian artwork, and the warm play of sunlight. Every detail is chosen to reflect timeless Indian aesthetics in a contemporary home.

A design concept for the living room of the Kanakapura Residence. Here, antique restored pillars frame the opening, and the walls are clad in brick to lend a warm, earthy touch to the space.

A view of the massive double-height living room in the Kanakapura Residence. We used brick cladding, Kota stone flooring, and a wooden jharokha to scale down the dramatic volume and create a cozy, traditional feel.

Another perspective of the Kanakapura living room, showing how Indian motifs and traditional artwork are used to embellish the interiors and add cultural context.

The living room of the completed Akshaynagar duplex, featuring a bright yellow sofa against an exposed brick wall. The space is finished with warm tones and Kota stone flooring, creating a cheerful and earthy atmosphere.

About Indian Modern & Earthy Interiors

Many clients worry that natural stone or exposed brick might make a room feel dark or enclosed. In my projects, I counter this by meticulously planning natural light entry points, such as central courtyards or skylights, to ensure every corner remains bright and airy, even in compact city plots.
