Prep: Deep pore cleansing using clinic-grade cleanser followed by optional numbing cream for sensitive skin.
Eye Protection: Application of specialized opaque goggles to shield retinas from high-intensity flashes.
Laser Toning: Full-face passes using Medlite C6 Q-Switch Nd:YAG Laser. Focuses on breaking down pigment in dark spots and melasma patches.
Sensation: Patient experiences a rapid clicking sound and a sensation similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin.

Post-Care

Cooling: Immediate application of cool compress or ice roller to settle heat.
Protection: Layering of antibiotic anti-inflammatory cream and broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen.

Vampire Facial (PRP Therapy)

Preparation (20 Minutes)

Collection: Drawing 10-15ml of blood from the arm using a sterile butterfly needle.
Processing: Centrifugation of blood to isolate Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) from red blood cells.
Numbing: Application of topical anesthetic cream on the face during the separation process.

Application (30 Minutes)

Technique: Performed by a doctor using either direct micro-injections into deep lines/scars or via a Microneedling device (Dermapen) to drive plasma into the dermis.
Focus Areas: Under-eye dark circles, distinct scars, and smile lines.

Post-Care

Absorption: Residual plasma is left on the skin as a mask to dry.
Recovery: No face washing for 12-24 hours; mild redness is expected for 1-2 days.

Acne Scar Resurfacing (Lumenis ResurFX)

Pre-Procedure (45 Minutes)

Analysis: Mapping of scar depth (rolling, boxcar, or icepick) to determine energy settings.
Anesthesia: Application of thick Lidocaine-based cream under cling film for maximum absorption to ensure comfort.

Laser Resurfacing (30 Minutes)

Technology: Usage of Lumenis ResurFX (Non-ablative) or CO2 Fractional laser based on scar type.
Execution: Handpiece delivers heat micro-beams into the deep dermis with continuous contact cooling to protect the upper skin layer.
Coverage: Systematic full-face passes with double intensity on deep scar tissue areas.

Recovery Protocol

Thermal Control: Application of Zimmer cold air blower or ice packs to reduce heat sensation.
Aftercare: Application of heavy repairing moisturizer. Skin will experience 'bronzing' and microscopic peeling for 5-7 days.

Treatments I Use

First, I make sure active pimples are sorted before moving to scar treatments.
My main tools:
- MNRF: Great for skin texture, open pores, and mild scars. It’s microneedling plus radiofrequency, so you get healing and skin tightening together.
- Fractional Lasers (ResurFX & CO2): For tough and deep scars. CO2 is intense, needs about a week of downtime. ResurFX is milder, less downtime.
- Vampire Facial (PRP): Uses your own blood’s healing power for smoother, fresher skin.
- Q-Switch Laser: My go-to for hyperpigmentation laser therapy, melasma, and dark spots, even for dark lips or underarms.
- Chemical Peels: Gentle exfoliation for that healthy glow and to tackle dark spots.
